Responsible Solutions have been supporting clients in demonstrating their environmental and corporate responsibility credentials for well over 10 years. Our team has, between them, over 120 years’ experience in supporting companies in a range of services.
Since 2008 we have become one of the construction industry’s leading advisors on “Responsible Sourcing for Construction Products” including certification to the BES6001 standard. We have a track record of helping organisations achieve certification. Clients include organisations in the steel, concrete, stone, gypsum and glass sectors. This work has brought us into contact with a wide range of other industry experts and contacts that we are able to access for the benefit of our clients.
Our Investment in Responsible Sourcing
In addition to gaining practical experience in a range of industry sectors, we are also maintaining our leading position by investing in research and innovation.
We are founder members and sponsors of the Action Programme for Responsible Sourcing (APRES) which is a Loughborough University managed knowledge network for responsible sourcing.
In addition we are currently sponsoring an Engineering Doctorate Research Engineer who is researching the topic of sustainability certification in construction products. As part of this, James is actively supporting BRE in their review and revision of the BES6001 standard.
